Revival ... Bon Jovi have eight albums in this week's ARIA Top 100.

THERE's nothing like a stadium tour to boost a band's record sales.
On the back of their sell-out tour, American rockers Bon Jovi have enjoyed a surprising revival in the Australian music charts.

The band have landed eight albums in this week's ARIA Top 100 in the wake of their first tour in seven years, which rocked Sydney's Acer Arena last week.

Bon Jovi's hit 1987 album, which features singles Livin' On A Prayer, You Give Love A Bad Name and Wanted Dead Or Alive, re-entered the chart at No. 28.

Slippery When Wet reached No. 1 in Australia when it was originally released and went on to sell six times platinum. It has sold 28 million copies worldwide.

The band's next two biggest records, 1992' s Keep The Faith and 1988's New Jersey, landed in the chart at No. 39 and No. 41 respectively.

The four-times platinum live set Cross Road scored the No. 57 spot, followed closely by 1995's These Days at No. 58 and the band's eponymous 1984 debut at No. 59.

Finally, Bon Jovi's 1985 set 7800 Fahrenheit, their least commercially successful album and one which failed to originally chart in Australia, grabbed the No. 66 position.

The Bon Jovi tour of Australia wound up at Subiaco Oval in Perth last Friday.
