Jon and Dorothea Bon Jovi once again are helping the Parker Family Health Clinic in Red Bank — by raising money through Bon Jovi's Oct. 26 concert at the Prudential Center in Newark.

Tickets and packages — including sky boxes, a dinner party and a cocktail party with the band — are available for that night, with proceeds benefiting the clinic.

For details, call the Parker Family Health Clinic at (732) 212-0777, ext. 110.

Jon and Dorothea Bon Jovi have long supported the Parker clinic, which provides free primary health care, prescription drug programs and other services for uninsured, low-income people in Monmouth County.

In 2001, the couple hosted a gala at their Middletown estate that raised money to pay for the entire cost of the clinic's permanent building at 211 Shrewsbury Ave. The clinic had been operating out of a trailer, and was able to move to a modern building — debt-free — thanks to help from the Bon Jovis.

Near Christmas 2001, the Bon Jovis hosted a cocktail party at their home for "founding circle families," who pledged a substantial five-year financial commitment to the clinic.

Jon Bon Jovi also performed an acoustic concert at a local high school to raise money for medicine for clinic patients.

The Parker Family Health Clinic is open six days a week, including Monday and Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings. It is run by volunteer doctors, nurses and other professionals.
