BON JOVI TO HEADLINE MARCUS AMPHITHEATER DURING SUMMERFEST ‘09

MILWAUKEE – February 27, 2009 – Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. officials are excited to announce the fourth show slated for Summerfest 2009. Bon Jovi will kick off Summerfest 2009 when they bring the #1 tour in the world back to the Marcus Amphitheater on opening night, Thursday, June 25 at 7:30 pm. During Summerfest 2007, Bon Jovi played to a record-breaking sold-out crowd of 22,771 fans at the Marcus Amphitheater. This will be the band’s third Summerfest Marcus Amphitheater performance in this decade, following their debut at the festival in 1985 at the Rock Stage.

Tickets will go on sale Saturday, March 7 at Noon and will be available for $97.00 (Red), $87.00 (Yellow), $67.00 (bench) and $42.00 (lawn). All prices include Summerfest admission. Tickets can be purchased at the Marcus Amphitheater Box Office, Ticketmaster Ticket Centers, online at Ticketmaster.com and by phone at 1.800.745.3000 (live Ticketmaster Agent) or 1.866.448.7849 (“Ticketmaster Express” automated phone line). Patrons may also utilize “ticketfast” at Ticketmaster.com to print bar coded concert tickets from home. Convenience fees may be added to all purchases.

Summerfest 2009 will take place June 25 – July 5 from noon until midnight daily. The World’s Largest Music Festival and Milwaukee’s cornerstone summer celebration attracts the music industry’s hottest stars, along with emerging talent and local favorites. The Marcus Amphitheater, 10 additional stages, diverse selection of food and beverages, marketplaces and interactive exhibits are set against the Lake Michigan and downtown backdrop, creating a festival experience like no other. FAN CLUB TICKETS FOR SUMMERFEST WILL GO ON SALE THIS THURSDAY, MARCH 5th 10AM CST ON THE TICKETMASTER SITE WITH A SPECIAL CODE POSTED ON OUR SITE!

- Fan Club Tickets will be in the first 25 Rows!

- The code will be posted on our NEWS PAGE for active members on Thursday, March 5th 10 AM CST.

- The link to the Ticketmaster on sale page will be posted here as well.

- Tickets will be on sale on the Ticketmaster site March 5th 10 AM CST to 10:00 PM or until the special tickets are sold out.

- Tickets are limited and 2 tickets per active member will be allowed.

- Members will know the specific location of seat(s) before purchase.

- All fan club tickets are required Will Call pick up for the day of the show only.

- You MUST be an ACTIVE MEMBER of BSWJBJ when picking up your tickets.

- You will need your email confirmation from Ticketmaster and a valid Photo ID.

- Bon Jovi tickets tickets are $97 before Ticketmaster fees and include admission to Summerfest. Fest opens at noon.

- There will be no refunds, transferring tickets and the fan club member MUST pick up the tickets in person!
