Concert Privé à une Radio de Nashville 1er mars 2007

Afin de remercier les diverses radios qui ont aidé à faire connaitre le single "Who says you can't go home", Bon Jovi a offert un concert privé durant lequel de nouveaux morceaux du prochain album, qui sortira prochainement, ont été joués, mais aussi de grand standards comme "Living on a prayer" ou "You give love a bad name"  C'est un son différent qui sera produit sur ce nouvel album, ni moins bon, ni meilleur, seulement différent.

Bon Jovi rocks private radio show

So you know it's Country Radio Seminar week, where country programmers from around the country come to Nashville to learn stuff, rub elbows with artists and whip out company credit cards.

So it's COUNTRY radio's week, right? What's legendary rock band Bon Jovi doing giving a private show last night at the Cannery off Eighth Avenue South ?

 

Well, Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, etc., were thanking country radio for playing the first Bon Jovi country hit, Who Says You Can't Go Home, a duet with Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles.

The guys played for an hour, and in addition to the country hit and some new ones, Bon Jovi whipped out Wanted: Dead or Alive, Living on a Prayer, You Give Love a Bad Name and other classics.

Awesome show, fer rizzle.

Jon says :

“If anything, the new material seems more seductive than the more aggressive nature of classic hits like "Livin' on a Prayer" -- which is not to say that one is better than the other because the lively one-hour set moved seamlessly between old and new.”

“Talking about the ratio of songs he's written to the ones he's recorded, Bon Jovi stated, "Every record, every year, forever, we would go in and do batches of 10 and pick two or three. With this record, we tried to get a little cocky and wrote 15. We went in and cut them, and then the neurotic Jon went in and wrote five more and pulled the record back, thinking, 'I'll deliver it again in a week or two.' ... I am absolutely one of those artists who can't let go."
