Bon Jovi slated to rock Calgary Stampede

Anthem-rockers Bon Jovi will play the Pengrowth Saddle on July 11, Calgary Stampede officials announced this morning.
Tickets to see the band, which is expected to feature the classic lineup fronted by Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora, will go sale Sat. April 14 at 10 a.m.
“Bon Jovi has remained at the forefront of rock for over two decades,” said Paul Rosenberg, senior manager of Stampede Sales & Programming, Calgary Stampede, in a news release.
“Their performance, along with those of Big and Rich, Gretchen Wilson and the Tragically Hip ensures that we are well on our way to making this year’s Calgary Stampede the best yet.”
Bon Jovi tickets are $89 to $169 (plus applicable ticket fees), which includes admission to the Stampede on the day of the concert.
Tickets will be available online at www.ticketmaster.ca or by calling Ticketmaster at 777-0000. The Calgary Stampede takes place July 6-15, 2007.
