Bon Jovi will be the first band to rock the O2 Arena

Bon Jovi have been lined up as the first act to perform at London's 02 Arena - in the new look Millennium Dome.

The band will rock the venue on June 24, which will be their only live appearance in the UK this year. The gig takes place just a day before they release their new single, (You Want To) Make A Memory.

Bon Jovi are the latest in a string of acts to be confirmed for the venue, including Justin Timberlake, the Rolling Stones, Take That and Scissor Sisters.

The New Jersey rockers are set to play tracks from their latest album, Lost Highway, which is due to be released on June 11.
