Jilting Jersey?

Is one of New Jersey's most famous residents crossing the river? Several blogs are posting details of Jon Bon Jovi's purchase of a $26 million Manhattan penthouse.

No word on whether the Perth Amboy-born, Sayreville-raised rocker is leaving New Jersey for good, or just picking up a place to crash in Soho. Bon Jovi, his wife and four children reportedly have a house in Navesink.

Gawker has the floor plan and links to photos of the new penthouse, which is on top of the New Museum building on Mercer Street.

Meanwhile, the news that Bon Jovi is moving apparently wasn't a secret. Grace at GraceNotesNYC overheard the man himself blabbing about it in a New York restaurant last week:
